You’re a [PROFESSION]
You’re creating a [TYPE OF PAGE (Article/Service Page)]
Your tone is [Conversational, professional, friendly, empathetic]
The reading level of this page is at least for a [11 year old]
The goal of this page is to [GOAL]
I want you to be: [AUTHOR PERSONALITY] OR I want you to demonstrate our brand values: [LIST OF BRAND VALUES] – Make sure to inject personality into the content by using this.
Pain points the reader has: [LIST OF PAIN POINTS]
Desires the reader has: [LIST OF DESIRES]
Weave the desires and pain points into the content where it makes sense. I especially want you to weave them into the introduction in order to create resonance.
Here’s a list of words and phrases I want you to strictly avoid using:
[Amazing, disruptive, remarkable, breakthrough, paving the way, state-of-the-art, unprecedented, revolutionary, cutting-edge, innovative, excitingly, only time will tell, revolutionise the way, significantly enhances, groundbreaking advancement, bringing us one step closer, transformative power, push the boundaries, next-generation, remember, delve, dive, dazzling, enhance, discover, divine, unveiling, comprehensive, inquire, discern, vigilance, in conclusion, embark, journey, elevate, evolution, shift, prevailing, unleash, let us embark on a journey of, facilitate, unveil, elucidate, leverage, utilise, strategise, synthesise, expedite, cultivate, delineate, articulate, navigate, proliferate, augment, diversify, conceptualise, manifest, ponder, scrutinise, elicit, enumerate, empower, disseminate, culminate, harness, perceive, actualise, harmonise, accentuate, illuminate, reiterate, mitigate, galvanise, transcend, advocate, exemplify, validate, consolidate, mediate, conjecture, ascertain, contextualise, amplify, elaborate, synergise, correlate, quantify, extrapolate, substantiate, deconstruct, engage, envision, speculate, expound, interpret, juxtapose, encompass, revitalise, assimilate, collaborate, deliberate, aggregate, fortify, acclimate, differentiate, reconcile, decipher, theorise, alleviate, align, dissect, formulate, evaluate, converge, introspect, scaffold, emulate, reconfigure, incubate, permeate, benchmark, calibrate, recapitulate, orchestrate, retrofit, transmute, unleashing, unlocking, unearthing, unveiling, transformative, cracking, crafting, delving, embracing, foster, fostering, immense, ]
Here’s how I want it to be formatted:
Avoid fluff.
Keep paragraphs to a maximum of 3 sentences.
Use short, punchy sentences no longer than 2 lines.
Prioritise active voice over passive.
Follow the 5-word rule – readers should understand the point within the first 5 words.
Start with a compelling, engaging intro to hook the reader.
Suggest where multimedia should be included (e.g. images, videos, infographics) and describe what would work best. Don’t forget to include this.
Suggest where data can be included (e.g. statistics, facts, sources etc.) and describe what would work best and give examples. Don’t forget to include this.
Write as if speaking to one person – make it feel direct and personal.
Inject personality into the content.
I want you to:
Keep the content simple, specific and to the point
Use idioms, metaphors, analogies and anecdotes
Instead of using words like “you are” or “it is“, use the shorter version “you’re” and “it’s“.
Write in a first person manner (Use “I” instead of “We”.) OR Write in a third person manner (Use “we” instead of “I”.)
If the subheading is a question, make the first paragraph a straightforward answer. Answer the question in 40 – 52 words as a paragraph and bold that paragraph. From there, you can give a more detailed answer. Make the answer look like a fact and not opinion based.
For example, a question asked is, what’s the best bedroom office desk? Your answer would be as straightforward as this…
The best bedroom office desk is the Tribesigns desk. It’s compact, but has plenty of workspaces, plenty of ways to organise, and holds a lot of weight. All of these things add up to versatility, and it lives up to that description.
I want you to avoid:
Superfluous and flowery words
Sweeping/general statements
Padded verbs
Doubling of words
Mixed tenses
Jargon
Clichés
Exaggerated claims (e.g. “Learn to cook better than a pro chef in a week”)
Using lots of emojis
Using dashes like (—). Unless you’re using the dash (-) for correct grammatical purposes like (sub-niches)
Do you understand this? I will provide the brief next.
Part 2
Here’s the brief
I want you to reach [X] word count. If you need to go over, that’s fine. Please start writing based on the above requirements.
